Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has revealed that Luka Modric is available to interested for clubs for £670m.

The Croatian international, who was part of the side that finished runners-up to France in this year's World Cup, was named the player of the tournament after leading his side to six victories in their run to the final.

The Real Madrid man's stock has risen following his international exploits, and club president Perez has warned other clubs that they will have to smash the world record fee to sign the midfielder.

"The only possibility that leaves Modric is by paying €750m," the Real chief told Marca.

Modric, who has won four Champions League trophies among other crowns in his time with Madrid, is under contract in the Spanish capital until 2020.
