A report claims that Gianluigi Donnarumma has put pen to paper on a new long-term deal to keep him at AC Milan for the next five years.

AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has reportedly put an end to speculation over his future by agreeing a new five-year deal.

The 18-year-old has been on the radar of a number of European clubs after rejecting the Rossoneri's initial contract offer earlier this summer.

According to The Sun, however, terms have now been agreed on a long-term deal that will keep him in place at San Siro until 2022, with a buyout clause worth £88m included.

That figure has been included to fend off Madrid, whose president Florentino Perez recently admitted to being interested in the Italy international.

If Milan fail to qualify for the Champions League from next season onwards then that clause reduces by half, but Donnarumma's rumoured £167,000-a-week wages will remain constant.
