Juventus forward Alvaro Morata has said that 'it is only fair' that Athletic Bilbao's Artiz Aduriz has made the latest Spain squad due to the 35-year-old's form this season.
Morata and Aduriz could well go head to head for a place in the Spain squad for Euro 2016, but both were included in Vicente del Bosque's latest selection.
Morata has admitted that he 'does not know Aduriz very well', but has insisted that the Bilbao striker is fully deserving of a spot in the latest squad.
"I don't know him very well. But he's a really nice guy and we have wished each other luck as teammates. He deserves it for the great year he is having. It's fair that he is here with Spain," Morata told Goal.com.
Aduriz, who is in the Spain squad for the first time since 2010, has scored 31 goals for Bilbao this season.
