Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino says that his team were 'good but not great' during Saturday's Premier League clash with Bournemouth.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has said that his team were 'good but not great' during Saturday's Premier League clash with Bournemouth.

Spurs won at Wembley in the league for the first time courtesy of a second-half effort from Christian Eriksen.

Pochettino has conceded that his side could have played better on home soil, but the Argentine was just pleased to pick up all three points, which consolidated third position in the Premier League table.

"The team played well. It was difficult to find the space. We had a lot of time on the ball but could not break down the opponent," Pochettino told reporters.

"In the second half we found better positions and moved the ball quickly, it was much better. We are always suffering if you don't score the second goal. It was good, not great, but enough to win the three points.

"We needed to win and take the three points. They played so deep in the first half and we could not find any space."

Next up for Tottenham is a trip to European champions Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
