Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly move for Brendan Rodgers if Leicester City fail to qualify for next season's Champions League.

Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly move for Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers if the Foxes fail to secure a Champions League position for the 2021-22 campaign.

Spurs are searching for a replacement for Jose Mourinho, and Rodgers has allegedly been identified by the North London club's chairman Daniel Levy as a leading target.

The 48-year-old led the Foxes to this season's FA Cup, but the team face the prospect of missing out on a top-four finish, with Chelsea and Liverpool both above them heading into the final weekend of action.

According to The Sun, Tottenham, who face Leicester on Sunday, will move for Rodgers if the former Liverpool and Celtic manager fails to lead his side into next season's Champions League.

The Northern Irishman would allegedly be open to taking on a new challenge at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with the club expected to spend heavily this summer, particularly if Harry Kane moves on.

Former Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has allegedly rejected a recent approach from Spurs.
