Monday morning's Tottenham Hotspur transfer talk news roundup:
Ronald Koeman 'makes decision over Philippe Coutinho's Barcelona future'
Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman is reportedly keen to keep Philippe Coutinho at the club this summer.
The Brazil international has struggled to make his mark for the Catalan giants since arriving in a big-money move from Liverpool in January 2018.
The 28-year-old has been in good form for Bayern Munich during the 2019-20 campaign, though, scoring 11 times and registering nine assists in 37 appearances for his loan club.
Coutinho has been strongly linked with a permanent move away from Camp Nou, and a number of clubs, including Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, have been mentioned as possible suitors.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Koeman is an admirer of the South American and is convinced that he can get the best out of the attacker next season.
The new Barca boss will allegedly meet with the playmaker in the aftermath of the Champions League final in the hope of convincing him to remain in Spain.
Coutinho's existing deal with the Catalan giants still has three years left to run.
Tottenham Hotspur 'contact Benfica to discuss Pizzi'
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in discussions with Benfica over a potential deal for Pizzi.
The 30-year-old enjoyed an impressive 2019-20 campaign for his Portuguese club, scoring 30 times and registering 19 assists in 51 appearances in all competitions.
Pizzi still has three years left to run on his contract in Lisbon, but according to A Bola, Tottenham are keen to bring him to the Premier League during this summer's transfer window.
The report claims that Spurs are in talks with the Eagles to determine how much would be needed to secure a deal in the current market.
Pizzi joined Benfica from Atletico Madrid in 2013 and has made 281 appearances for his current side in all competitions, scoring 76 goals and providing 86 assists in the process.
The playmaker has also netted three goals in 17 appearances for Portugal.
