Monday morning's Tottenham Hotspur transfer talk news roundup:
Tottenham Hotspur to hijack Liverpool's move for £75m Victor Osimhen?
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly preparing a move for Lille forward Victor Osimhen.
The 21-year-old enjoyed an excellent 2019-20 campaign for his French club, scoring 18 times and registering six assists in 38 appearances in all competitions.
Napoli have been strongly linked with the Nigeria international, but a host of Premier League clubs also continue to be credited with an interest ahead of this summer's transfer window.
According to The Express, Liverpool have 'moved into pole position' for the attacker, but Spurs are now 'weighing up a late move' to bring him to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Lille are believed to be demanding £75m, which Napoli have agreed to meet, but the Nigerian is thought to be keen to secure a move to England ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
Osimhen, who scored 13 times in 27 Ligue 1 outings last season, has a contract with Christophe Galtier's side until the summer of 2024.
Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur 'consider Gareth Bale swoop after Real Madrid snub'
Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly both considering moves for Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale during this summer's transfer window.
Bale has been left out of the Madrid squad for their final La Liga game of the season against Leganes on Sunday.
The Wales international has only scored three times in 20 appearances during a disappointing 2019-20 campaign, while he has not featured in any of his side's last six league matches.
According to WalesOnline, the news that the 31-year-old has been left out against Leganes has put Premier League clubs, namely United and Spurs, on red alert.
Bale still has two years left to run on his contract at the Bernabeu, though, and is allegedly not in the rush to leave the Spanish capital, despite falling out of favour under Zinedine Zidane.
The attacker has scored 105 goals in 251 appearances for Los Blancos, winning two league titles and four Champions League crowns during his time in Spain.
