Eric Dier recovers from an elbow injury to make the Tottenham Hotspur bench in Sunday's Premier League clash away at Bournemouth.

Eric Dier has been named on the Tottenham Hotspur bench for Sunday's Premier League game away at Bournemouth.

The 24-year-old picked up an elbow injury during the 2-1 defeat to Juventus in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

However, Dier has passed a fitness test to earn a place in the squad at the Vitality Stadium, though Mauricio Pochettino has opted not to risk the England star from the off.

Victor Wanyama has taken Dier's place in the starting XI in one of three changes, with full-backs Kieran Trippier and Ben Davies replaced by Serge Aurier and Danny Rose.

Bournemouth, meanwhile, have made just the one change from the 1-1 draw at Leicester City last time out.

Eddie Howe has brought Lys Mousset into the Cherries frontline to replace Joshua King, who drops to the bench, while Jermain Defoe is also among the subs against his former club.

Bournemouth: Begovic; Francis, S. Cook, Ake, Daniels; Stanislas, Smith, Gosling, L. Cook; Mousset, Wilson
Subs: Boruc, Surman, Arter, King, Defoe, Fraser, Ibe

Tottenham Hotspur: Lloris; Aurier, Vertonghen, Sanchez, Rose; Wanyama, Dembele; Eriksen, Alli, Son; Kane
Subs: Vorm, Trippier, Lamela, Dier, Sissoko, Llorente, Moura
