Harry Kane returns to the Tottenham Hotspur starting XI for this afternoon's trip to Stoke City.

The frontman makes his full return from injury having come on as a substitute against Chelsea last weekend, in one of four changes from that game as Spurs aim for a sixth successive league victory.

Also coming into the lineup are Danny Rose, Serge Aurier and Victor Wanyama, while Erik Lamela, Ben Davies and Eric Dier drop to the bench and Kieran Trippier misses out altogether.

Paul Lambert, meanwhile, goes with the same side that fell to a 3-0 defeat to Arsenal last weekend.

Mame Biram Diouf is able to take his place from the start having shaken off a calf injury that saw him come off at the Emirates, while Kurt Zouma is fit enough to make the bench following a knee problem.

Charlie Adam, meanwhile, remains absent as he serves the third of a three-match suspension.

Stoke City: Butland; Johnson, Shawcross, Martins Indi, Pieters; Bauer, Allen, Ndiaye, Diouf, Shaqiri; Sobhi
Subs: Haugaard, Zouma, Ireland, Cameron, Fletcher, Crouch, Campbell

Tottenham Hotspur: Lloris; Aurier, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Rose; Wanyama, Dembele; Eriksen, Alli, Son; Kane
Subs: Vorm, Davies, Dier, Sissoko, Lamela, Lucas, Llorente
