Bookmaker suspends Scott Parker to Queens Park Rangers betting

Sky Bet shuts down the market on Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Scott Parker signing for Queens Park Rangers.

A leading bookmaker has stopped customers from placing a bet on Scott Parker joining Queens Park Rangers this summer.

With Brazilian international Paulinho expected to arrive shortly, Parker's chances of starting action at Tottenham Hotspur are likely to be limited.

He has been linked with a number of clubs, but following "a string of heavy bets", Sky Bet have closed the market on the 32-year-old signing on at Loftus Road.

Parker previously worked under QPR manager Harry Redknapp during his stint in charge of Tottenham Hotspur.
