Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly eyeing a move for Edin Dzeko after sending scouts to watch the Roma forward in action last week.
Spurs are thought to be in the market for a new striker to ease the pressure on Harry Kane, having allowed Fernando Llorente to leave ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.
According to The Mirror, Dzeko has been identified as a possible target, with Mourinho sending scouts to watch the 33-year-old in action against Hellas Verona earlier this month.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina international has found the back of the net on 95 occasions in 198 appearances for Roma in all competitions, including eight in 19 outings during the 2019-20 campaign.
Dzeko was also a regular scorer during his time at Manchester City, registering 72 goals in 189 appearances for the English giants before arriving in Italian football.
Tottenham bounced back from last week's 2-1 win at Manchester United by thumping Burnley 5-0 on Saturday afternoon, with Kane scoring twice for the capital giants.
