Sunderland have reportedly offered a contract to Swedish starlet Valmir Berisha.
The 17-year-old impressed at the recent Under-17 World Cup, finishing as top scorer with seven goals in his seven appearances in the competition.
According to the Daily Express, the Black Cats have offered terms to the Halmstad youngster, who is coming to the end of his contract and therefore free to talk to other clubs in January. Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with the teenager.
Mackems boss Gus Poyet is also said to be among those interested in signing AIK Stockholm winger Nabil Bahoui.
The same newspaper reports that they face competition from Crystal Palace, Everton and Cardiff City for the £2.5m-rated Swede.
