Swansea City hosted Fulham on the final day of the Premier League season, but the visitors were out to spoil the party and took a 3-0 win.
Alexander Kacaniklic opened the scoring midway through the first half, firing low and hard after being played in by Emmanuel Frimpong.
In the second half Swansea laid siege to the Fulham goal but could not find a way past Mark Schwarzer, before Dimitar Berbatov eased the pressure by rounding Michel Vorm and Urby Emanuelson wrapped up the points with a tap-in in injury time.

Was the result fair?
The final result is a bit flattering, but Fulham just about deserved the win for their clinical finishing. In the first half they had far and away the two best chances – Kacaniklic scoring and then hitting the post via a good save from Michel Vorm. Fulham had Mark Schwarzer to thank for staying level, but then killed the game off with two swift counter-attacks.
Swansea's performance
Actually quite good in most attacking departments bar the finishing. They squandered a number of second-half opportunities and were not good enough at the back to stop Fulham hitting them on the break. Another day they might have done enough to win, but they were undone by an efficient visiting side.
Fulham's performance
Very good in parts and very poor in others. They were good for longer than they were bad, however, and largely played out Martin Jol's game plan perfectly. Frimpong and Eyong Enoh were combative in midfield and there was some fine last-ditch defending too. At the other end Kacaniklic, Bryan Ruiz and Berbatov were a constant threat.
Sports Mole's man of the match
Alexander Kacaniklic: It could have been Schwarzer or Brede Hangeland, but for his ability and clinical touch when needed, this goes to the young Swede. He could have had two in the first half, but did open the scoring and had a big part in the third as well in what was a very good day at the office.
Biggest gaffe
In a game full of defensive errors, this will actually go to Chico Flores's poor finishing. When Swansea were dominating at the start of the second half, Chico had an effort from point-blank range but he could only pick out Schwarzer when it was easier to score.
Referee performance
Lee Mason had a good game. He came under pressure early from Swansea players and the fans, who wanted to see cards for some niggly Fulham fouls, but he stayed in control of the game and got all the big decisions right.
What next?
Swansea: The result is just a minor blip on an otherwise excellent season. With silverware claimed and a top-half finish, next season will be about consolidating this for Swansea.
Fulham: Despite this good win, there is work that needs doing at Craven Cottage this summer. A number of players could be on their way out and an ageing squad is in need of rejuvenating. The win will create a positive mood heading into the summer, however.
