Swansea City are reportedly keen to sign Valencia winger Pablo Hernandez before the transfer window closes.
The 27-year-old is believed to have fallen down the pecking order at the Mestalla, with Sofiane Feghouli often selected in the right wing role.
That news is said to have alerted Swansea boss Michael Laudrup, who managed Hernandez during his stint in charge of Getafe back in 2007.
With that in mind, talks between the two clubs regarding a possible loan move are at an early stage, according to reports in Spain.
Hernandez has made four appearances for the Spanish national team.
