Togo boss: Emmanuel Adebayor "very motivated" to prove Premier League point

Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor is looking to prove a point in the Premier League, according to Togo manager Tom Saintfiet.

Togo manager Tom Saintfiet has claimed that Emmanuel Adebayor is still "very motivated" to prove himself in the Premier League.

The 31-year-old is currently without a club after being released by Tottenham Hotspur in September.

Saintfiet believes that Adebayor, who has been linked with a January move to Watford, is more than capable of making an impact in the top tier of English football.

"He is very motivated after what happened at Tottenham to show that he is still a player that can add something to any team in England and Europe," ESPN quotes him as saying.

"He is physically ready. He still has the technical abilities and I think he is very motivated to prove a point."

Adebayor spent four years at White Hart Lane, while also representing Manchester City and Arsenal in the past.
