Zlatan Ibrahimovic netted a hat-trick to help Paris Saint-Germain claim maximum points from their trip to Valenciennes this evening.
The Swedish international's first goal of the match arrived with 28 minutes played when he converted a cross from Ezequiel Lavezzi into the centre of the net.
The visiting Parisians continued to dominate the encounter, but they failed to add to their tally before the break.
However, just four minutes after the restart Ibrahimovic claimed his second of the night when he took advantage of being unmarked in the area by sending the ball beyond the reach of Nicolas Penneteau from close range.
He completed his trio of goals in the 54th minute following a pass from Jeremy Menez.
The scoring was completed eight minutes from time by Lavezzi, who sent the ball into the bottom right-hand corner of the net after a cross from Marco Verratti.
PSG are now two points behind leaders Lyon.
