Watford will strengthen their midfield options by bringing in former West Ham United player Valon Behrami, according to a report.
The 30-year-old Hamburger SV man is said to be in London this afternoon ready to undergo a medical at the newly-promoted Premier League outfit's training ground.
Just days after paying out a club-record fee to land Etienne Capoue from Tottenham Hotspur, the Daily Mail claims that former teammate Behrami is now on the brink of making a switch of his own.
It has also been suggested that Watford have held talks with Inter Milan about the availability of Saphir Taider, as they prepare to embark on their first campaign in the top flight since 2007.
