Tony Pulis: 'Saido Berahino will play for West Bromwich Albion'

West Bromwich Albion head coach Tony Pulis believes that striker Saido Berahino will play for the club again despite his fall-out with the club's chairman Jeremy Peace.

West Bromwich Albion head coach Tony Pulis has suggested that striker Saido Berahino will play for the club again after Tottenham Hotspur reportedly had a bid for the player rejected on transfer deadline day.

The 22-year-old had been linked with a move to White Hart Lane throughout the summer, but after a late bid for the player was reportedly rejected Berahino spoke out against the club's chairman Jeremy Peace on Twitter.

Berahino - who has scored 29 goals in 83 games for the Baggies - has not featured for West Brom since their goalless draw with Watford on August 15, but Pulis believes that he can reintegrate the Burundi-born player into the squad.

"I want him to come back and to draw a line under it," Pulis told the Daily Mail. "It will be difficult to integrate him into the group and to get him to concentrate but that's my job.

"If you look at the club, Jeremy [Peace] has sold players when it has suited him. Look at Shane Long, he sold him at a time when the club was left without a recognised forward. I think Saido thinks he is just looking at finances all the time.

"I think his tweet was aimed at the chairman more than the players, management, staff, supporters of the club. His gripe is with Jeremy - as far as I'm concerned, he will play for West Brom again."

Berahino could feature for West Brom against Southampton on Saturday, September 12.
