Half-Time Report: West Ham United ahead against Queens Park Rangers

West Ham United lead QPR 1-0 at the break in this afternoon's Premier League clash at Upton Park thanks to a Nedum Onuoha own goal.

West Ham United hold a narrow 1-0 half-time lead over Queens Park Rangers in this afternoon's Premier League clash at Upton Park.

The hosts took the lead with just five minutes played when Nedum Onuoha deflected a corner past goalkeeper Robert Green and into his own net.

West Ham almost extended their advantage on 10 minutes through Enner Valencia, but his tame effort bobbled wide of the post after he was picked out in the box by Diafra Sakho.

QPR's best opportunity of the first half came the way of Charlie Austin, though he could only shoot straight at Adrian with a curling effort.
