West Ham United to reignite interest in Sampdoria's Pedro Obiang

West Ham United will go back in for Sampdoria midfielder Pedro Obiang this winter after failing with a bid in the summer.

West Ham United will rekindle their interest in Sampdoria midfielder Pedro Obiang when the transfer window re-opens in January, reports in Italy suggest.

The Spanish youth international has been in fine form for the Serie A side this season, and according to Sport Italia the 22-year-old could be on the move in January.

Sampdoria will supposedly listen to offers for Obiang to leave the club as long as their valuation of the player is met.

West Ham had a move for the midfielder turned down this summer, but are now confident they will bring Obiang to the Premier League in January.

Sam Allardyce's men have made a flying start to the current Premier League campaign, currently sitting in fourth place in the table.
