Middlesbrough have reportedly identified Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore as a potential January signing.
Boro allowed Traore to leave the Riverside Stadium during the summer after Wolves opted to break their transfer record to add the 22-year-old to their squad.
Traore made an instant impact at Molineux during the opening weeks of the campaign, but the attacker has failed to build on his start at the West Midlands outfit.
According to TEAMtalk, that has resulted in Boro looking to secure a reunion with Traore at the start of 2019 as Tony Pulis tries to strengthen his options on the flank.
Boro sit in sixth place in the Championship table, but the North-East side have scored just 23 goals from their 21 matches at the second tier.
Wolves are unlikely to entertain any offers unless they bring in a direct replacement.
