Kenny Jackett: 'We don't have to sell Bakary Sako, Kevin Doyle'

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett insists that the club do not have to sell Bakary Sako and Kevin Doyle before the end of the transfer window.

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett has revealed that he isn't being forced to get Bakary Sako and Kevin Doyle off the wage bill before the end of the transfer window.

Both players have been linked with a move away from Molineux due to commanding high wages, but Jackett is adamant that they would only leave the club if they received a "worthy" offer for their signature.

The 51-year-old told the Express & Star: "They are both in the team and that's a good thing. Their performances have been good, as have those of the whole side.

"They do attract some speculation but really, from my point of view, they are part of the group and I'm planning for Crawley, for Port Vale and the Walsall game.

"We will see how their standard of play continues but until there is a worthy bid, they are Wolves players."

Sako has netted in his last two games, while Doyle has been effective in attack with Leigh Griffiths.
