Leicester Tigers flanker Tom Croft has been added to England's Six Nations squad ahead of their match against Italy.
Croft returned to domestic action in January after recovering from a serious neck injury. His appearance in Leicester's 48-10 victory over Sale at the weekend was the first time he has played back-to-back matches this season.
England coach Stuart Lancaster has confirmed that Croft is in contention to feature in the Six Nations.
"The indications last week were that it might be a bit early for Tom to get involved in this Six Nations," BBC Sport quotes Lancaster as saying.
"But having played back to back games he has now had the all clear from the specialist and Leicester's and our medics."
England face Italy at Twickenham on Sunday.
