Tomas Berdych remains in contention for the French Open title after securing a 6-3 6-3 6-1 victory over Dudi Sela.
Berdych edged the first set in Paris without much challenge from his 27-year-old opponent, who managed to get three games on the board before relinquishing the set 6-3 to the 26-year-old.
The Czech pro continued his dominance on the clay court, snatching the first break of serve to take the advantage.
While Sela attempted to get a foothold on the contest, Berdych proved to be too much for the Israeli professional, who succumbed to a 6-4 defeat in the second set.
It became increasingly more comfortable for Berdych as the contest entered the third set as the world number seven grabbed a three-game lead and eventually take the winning set.
