Sara Errani has booked her place in the fourth round of the French Open with a straight-sets victory over Sabine Lisicki this afternoon.
The Italian dropped just four games as she secured the match 6-0 6-4.
World number five Errani took control early on, holding her serve and forcing Lisicki into several unforced errors, which allowed her to break on three occasions.
Errani held her serve to take the opening set in just 20 minutes.
In the opening game of the second set, Lisicki served well to move 1-0 ahead, but Errani fought back, breaking the German in the third game to establish an advantage.
Lisicki regained some form, breaking Errani to save two match points at 3-5, but the Italian came back with a break of her own in the next game to seal her progress into the next round.
