Andy Murray has reached the semi-finals of the Brisbane International by beating Marcos Baghdatis in straight sets.
After comfortably seeing out the first set 6-2, Murray held out a difficult service game to break in the fifth game of the second set before sealing it 6-2.
"I played very well today," Murray said. "Moved very well from the start, which wasn't the case in the last two matches, so really, really happy.
"The aches and pains I had from the first two matches have gone, so it's good."
The Scot goes on to face Bernard Tomic after the 19-year-old defeated Denis Istomin 6-3 7-6 (7-4).
