Alexandr Dolgopolov reveals that he now feels comfortable playing against the biggest names in world tennis.

Ukraine's Alexandr Dolgopolov believes that his ability to play "unpredictable shots" has helped him to compete with some of the best players in world tennis.

The 23-year-old has made a name for himself over the last two years with his performances in Grand Slams.

Reflecting on his rise to prominence, the world number 15 has admitted that he has had to adapt his game along the way.

"I think the difference now is that I've started understanding how I can win matches in tournaments and beat the top guys," he said. "It's a big thing to understand your advantage in the game.

"I use a lot of unpredictable shots. I can play almost any shot from any side of the court.

"That's my game. I might miss some, but I'm also making winners. I use it to break up the routine of the game for other guy."

Dolgopolov is due to take on Stanislas Wawrinka at the ongoing US Open later today.
