Heather Watson has revealed that it took her just a "few days" to move on from her Wimbledon defeat to Serena Williams.
The British number one came within two points of defeating Williams, the eventual winner at SW19, but the Guernsey hitter has insisted that she was soon looking ahead to the rest of the season.
The 23-year-old told BBC Sport: "You have to get the motivation back after such a big match on a big stage.
"You've got to find that fire and that fight every single week, no matter how loud or quiet it is.
"Apart from the few days after the match, I haven't thought about it at all really. I'm not looking back now, I'm looking ahead."
Watson faces Lauren Davis in the opening round of the US Open on Monday.
