Rafael Nadal has opened up about his shock defeat to world number 100 Lukas Rosol in the second round of Wimbledon.
The Spaniard, who lost the match in five sets, said that going out early in the competition is "painful" but not a "tragedy".
He commented: "It's painful to lose tonight, I'm not very happy but it was just the second round, I was a long way from the final.
"The last four months have been great for me. I lost a tennis match tonight, it's not a tragedy. There are more important things."
The result, considered one of the biggest shocks in the history of the competition, sees Nadal suffer his earliest exit from a major tournament since Wimbledon 2005.
Rosol will now face Germany's Philipp Kohlschreiber for a place in the last 16.
