Arsenal defender Gabriel has been ruled out for two to three weeks with a hamstring injury.

The Brazilian, who recently joined the club for £16m from Villarreal, picked up the knock during Wednesday's 2-1 victory over Queens Park Rangers in the Premier League.

Gabriel will now miss out on Arsenal's crunch FA Cup quarter-final clash with Manchester United next Monday.

The Gunners currently hold third spot in the Premier League standings.
