Ian Rush: 'Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey would suit Barcelona'

Ian Rush believes that Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey would walk into Barcelona's team.

Former Liverpool striker Ian Rush has claimed that Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey would be well suited to Barcelona's style of play.

The 25-year-old has been linked with the Catalan giants in the past, and Rush believes that Ramsey would walk into Luis Enrique's side.

"I think the way Barcelona play suits him," Rush told Wales Online. "Aaron likes to get forward and score goals, and his sense of duty in midfield would be less there than it is at Arsenal. He would be a great pick if he went somewhere like that."

Ramsey's side came up against Barcelona in the last 16 of the Champions League this season and they were knocked out after losing both legs.
