Barcelona reportedly plan to move for Real Sociedad forward Alexander Isak if they cannot secure a deal for Borussia Dortmund frontman Erling Braut Haaland.

Barcelona reportedly hold an interest in signing Real Sociedad forward Alexander Isak during the summer transfer window.

Despite bringing in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in January, the Catalan giants plan to secure the services of a high-profile frontman ahead of 2022-23.

If reports are to be believed, club officials are working on a proposal for Erling Braut Haaland, who is expected to depart Borussia Dortmund later this year.

However, according to Sport, Barcelona have also identified Isak as a potential arrival at Camp Nou.

The 22-year-old, who has recently been linked with Arsenal, has only netted seven times in all competitions this season, but he remains in the thoughts of several top European clubs.

Depending on whether they qualify for next season's Champions League, Sociedad may insist on Isak's £70m release clause being met in full if they are to give the green light to a sale.
