Neymar: Lionel Messi partnership a "dream come true"

Santos forward Neymar says that lining up alongside Lionel Messi next season will be a "dream come true".

Santos forward Neymar has said that lining up alongside Lionel Messi next season will be a "dream come true".

The Brazilian international will move to the Liga champions next season after the transfer was officially announced last week.

The 21-year-old admitted that the decision to move to Europe was not one that was taken lightly but said that it was the chance to play with Messi that made him want to move.

"This is a dream come true. To play with Messi and other amazing footballers at Barcelona has made me very eager to arrive there," Neymar told reporters.

"It was a tough decision but I decided together with my family. They helped me amazingly. I'm very happy but at the same time I am sad for leaving a team I have been with for years. I have to seize the moment."

Neymar has signed a five-year deal at Camp Nou, with the fee believed to be in the region of £24m.
