Thiago Alcantara insists that Barcelona cannot "assume" they have already won La Liga despite their 13-point lead at the top of the table.

Barcelona midfielder Thiago Alcantara has warned his teammates against complacency in the race for La Liga title this season.

Tito Vilanova's side defeated Real Zaragoza 3-0 away from home on Sunday to maintain their 13-point lead at the top of the league table.

"Every team has a lot on the line at this point in the season and they are stronger when they play at home, that's why we're very pleased with today's win," Barca's official website quotes him as saying on Sunday.

"We were a complete team today in all aspects of the game, and the score reflects that. We want to win La Liga as soon as possible, but the race isn't over yet. There are a lot of points still in play and we can't assume that this is a done deal."

Barcelona have collected 81 points from 31 matches.
