Lee Clark is devastated at Birmingham's performance in the 5-0 home thrashing by Barnsley.

Birmingham City manager Lee Clark has revealed that it was "devastating" to lose 5-0 at home earlier today to Barnsley.

Clark's side conceded all five goals in the second half and he has admitted that the defeat is "tough to take".

"Losing any game at home is a massive disappointment but to lose by this margin is devastating," Sky Sports News quotes Clark as saying. "Any loss is tough to take but this one is very tough.

"We never started the game. We were lucky it was goalless at half-time in all honesty.

"It was a totally flat performance in every aspect. Barnsley played through us. It's an awful performance."

Birmingham sit 19th in the Championship with eight points from seven games.
