Ruben Loftus-Cheek scores for Chelsea's Under-21s against Liverpool

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho watches Ruben Loftus-Cheek score for the Under-21s in a win over Liverpool.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek has shown Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho his quality by scoring for the club's Under-21s side in a victory over Liverpool.

On Sunday, Mourinho and his backroom staff witnessed Loftus-Cheek pick up the ball in his own half before surging down the field and sending it into the net.

Mourinho was in attendance after serving a one-match ban, which kept him out of the Britannia Stadium for the senior team's 1-0 defeat to Stoke City on Saturday.

Lotus-Cheek, who has made four senior appearances for Chelsea this season, scored the second of the U21 side's goals as they sealed a 4-0 win over Liverpool.
