Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis says that he is relishing the prospect of taking on Sheffield United.

Crewe Alexandra manager Steve Davis has said that he is looking forward to taking on Sheffield United.

The Railwaymen host Danny Wilson's side, who have won five of their last seven matches in League One, on Tuesday evening.

The teams drew 3-3 at Bramall Lane earlier in the season and Davis believes that the same attacking principles will be on show at Gresty Road.

He told The Sentinel: "It was a fantastic game to watch last time we met with two good teams having a go.

"We came from two down and I thought we were going to win it when we had them panicking. They managed to get the equaliser but it was a great night.

"We took a lot from that performance and hopefully we can get another game similar to that at Crewe."

Crewe are currently 14th in League One.
