Rio Ave scored late to win 2-1 at Estoril as both sides finished with 10 men at the Estadio António Coimbra da Mota.
Estoril top scorer Leo Bonatini, who has scored four of the club's six goals so far this season, was sent off early in the first half for a rash challenge in the opposition box.
Rio Ave then took the lead just before half time as Marvin Zeegelaar found the back of the net for just the second time in 46 appearances for Rio Grande.
However, the home side would pull level on 56 minutes as former Porto B player Diego Carlos scored his first for the club.
The away side were reduced to 10 men towards the end as former Braga man Anibal Capela was shown a second yellow card with 11 minutes remaining.
Bressan had a chance for the visitors late on but his attempt was well saved by former Porto goalkeeper Pawel Kieszek, but Helder Tiago Guedes struck late on for Rio Ave to take all three points.
The result leaves Rio Ave in third place in the Primeira Liga but they are level on points with first place, while Estoril drop outside of the European places into seventh.
