Ramiro Funes Mori will consider Everton exit if he fails to receive game time

Ramiro Funes Mori says that he will consider leaving Everton if he fails to force his way back into the first team under manager Ronald Koeman.

Ramiro Funes Mori has claimed that he will consider leaving Everton if he fails to get more minutes under his belt.

The Argentine defender has been restricted to just two Premier League appearances under manager Ronald Koeman this season.

Funes Mori was signed by former boss Roberto Martinez from River Plate last year, but since the summer arrival of Ashley Williams, the 25-year-old has dropped down the pecking order.

"I started playing, but then the manager decided I had to be a substitute," Mori is quoted by La Nacion as saying. "I'll see how things are going, because if I don't play I will look for a way out to have that continuity of which we spoke, because I've place in the national team also based on play.

"Although [Argentine boss] Paton [Bauza] gives me great confidence, I need continuity. And to play at Everton or elsewhere."

Everton have kept two clean sheets in seven league games.
