Fiorentina sign Gheorghe Hagi's son

Ianis Hagi, son of Romania legend Gheorghe Hagi, signs for Italian side Fiorentina.

The son of the legendary Romanian star Gheorghe Hagi has signed for Serie A side Fiorentina.

Ianis Hagi, 16, has signed for the Viola from Romanian league side FC Viitorul, for whom he scored three goals last season.

The midfielder made 31 appearances last term and his father Gheorghe is already tipping him to captain the national team in the future.

In August 2015, Hagi was the youngest player to captain a team in the Romanian league and has been capped at youth level by his country.
