Hoffenheim reveal that goalkeeper Tim Wiese is free to leave in the summer if they are relegated from the Bundesliga.

Hoffenheim general manager Andreas Muller has revealed that goalkeeper Tim Wiese could leave the club in the summer.

Muller says that the 31-year-old is the only player in the squad who has the option not to stay with the team in case they are relegated from the Bundesliga at the end of the season.

"All Hoffenheim players will still be contracted to the club in the event that we are relegated to 2. Bundesliga with the exception of Tim Wiese," Muller told reporters on Friday.

Wiese joined Hoffenheim last summer.
