Houston Dynamo 2-2 Columbus Crew

Adam Moffat's late long-range strike rescues a point for Houston Dynamo against Columbus Crew at Robertson Stadium.

Columbus Crew are without a win in three MLS matches after being denied victory against Houston Dynamo by a late Adam Moffat strike at Robertson Stadium.

The hosts went ahead after 19 minutes when Brad Davis latched onto Oscar Boniek Garcia's clever pass to fire home from 15 yards.

Well-taken strikes from Cole Grossman and Eddie Gaven either side of half time then turned the game on its head.

However, with just eight minutes remaining, Moffat found space outside the penalty area and unleashed an unstoppable left-footed effort that rocketed into the top right corner.

The past three matches between these sides have now finished as 2-2 draws.
