Lorenzo Insigne sets sights on Roma

Lorenzo Insigne says that Napoli have set their sights on securing automatic qualification to the UCL after beating Juventus 2-0 tonight.

Lorenzo Insigne has said that Napoli have now set their sights on securing automatic qualification to the Champions League after beating Juventus 2-0 tonight.

Rafael Benitez's charges became just the second team to beat the runaway Serie A leaders this season, courtesy of Jose Callejon and Dries Mertens strikes in either half.

While the result may do little to prevent Juve - who sit 11 points clear at the summit - from winning a third straight scudetto, the Partenopei moved six points adrift of second-placed Roma and Insigne feels that Rudi Garcia's men are there to be caught.

"I salute the stands, the fans gave us a big helping hand. We repaid their confidence by beating the champions of Italy," he told Sky Sport Italia.

"Winning was important, it allows us to lock down third place without giving up on second."

A third-placed finish would ensure that Benitez and co. would have to win a two-legged playoff before booking their place in the group stage of Europe's elite competition next season.
