Igor Zubeldia, who missed the win against Leganes through suspension, appears to be the frontrunner to partner Aritz Elustondo as Aguerd's replacement.

Martin Zubimendi will be tasked with guarding the Real Sociedad backline, while Pablo Marin and Jon Ander Olasagasti are also set to line up in the middle of the park, with the latter likely to replace Zakharyan after taking the Russian's place at half time of Sunday's La Liga fixture.

Having scored two goals in his last three competitive appearances, Take Kubo should be given the task of offering the threat from Real Sociedad's right flank, with Sergio Gomez set to operate on the left wing for Wednesday's first leg.

Meanwhile, Oyarzabal is in line to replace Iceland forward Orri Oskarsson after the Spain international dropped down to the bench at the weekend.
