Marco Hoger: 'Schalke 04 must improve league form'

Marco Hoger urges his Schalke 04 teammates to improve their league form.

Schalke 04 midfielder Marco Hoger has admitted that he and his teammates must up their game in the Bundesliga, starting with Saturday's clash against Augsburg.

Hoger said that their Champions League form alone is not good enough and that they must start winning in the league as well.

"We're aware we have to raise our game in the Bundesliga," Hoger told Bundesliga.com.

"Eight points from seven games isn't good enough for us. We played well for the whole 90 minutes against Basel. We have to do the same against Augsburg."

The game kicks off on Saturday at 2.30pm.
