Tottenham Hotspur target Franco Vazquez confirms Palermo departure

Franco Vazquez confirms his departure from Palermo, but the Tottenham Hotspur target remains unsure on the identity of his next club.

Franco Vazquez, reportedly a target for Tottenham Hotspur, has confirmed that he will leave Serie A club Palermo this summer.

The 27-year-old has been linked with Roma and AC Milan, as well as Spurs, in recent weeks. West Bromwich Albion were also rumoured to have had an offer rejected for the forward.

However, Vazquez has revealed that he still does not know where he will be playing his football next season.

He told Mudo: "I will certainly leave Palermo, but I don't know my next destination, so I will continue to wait.

"During the next few weeks, I am confident that some kind of offer will arise."

Vazquez scored eight goals in 36 games for Palermo last season.
