Daniel Levy: 'Key players will stay at Tottenham Hotspur'

Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy insists that the likes of Harry Kane and Dele Alli will not be leaving the capital club at the end of this season.

Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has insisted that the likes of Harry Kane and Dele Alli will not be leaving the capital club at the end of this season.

On Wednesday, it was reported that Real Madrid were in "advanced" talks with Spurs over a move for Kane, who has continued his excellent scoring form during the 2017-18 campaign.

Alli, meanwhile, has also been linked with a move to the Bernabeu, while a number of major European clubs are said to be closely monitoring developments surrounding the England international.

Levy, however, has said that he is "100%" confident of keeping key players at the club heading into the 2018-19 season.

"I'm 100% confident. Every single player that we want to keep, I can assure you will be playing for Tottenham Hotspur next season," Levy told Sky Sports News.

Fifth-placed Tottenham are currently 21 points off the pace being set by Manchester City table at the top of the Premier League table, but Mauricio Pochettino's side are just three points behind fourth-placed Liverpool.
