Sam Allardyce: 'Kevin Nolan injury not serious'

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce reassures fans that Kevin Nolan did not suffer a serious injury during Saturday's 2-0 win at Aston Villa.

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has reassured fans that Kevin Nolan did not suffer a serious injury during Saturday's 2-0 win at Aston Villa.

Nolan, who scored both goals in the game, limped off the field with 32 minutes remaining.

"Kevin came off with only a slight groin [strain], so I don't think it's going to be too much of a problem," Allardyce told reporters.

Nolan has now found the net five times in his last five Premier League appearances.
