Owe Rosler praises Wigan Athletic

Uwe Rosler says that Wigan Athletic are showing positive signs of adhering to his tactics following today's 3-2 win over Bolton Wanderers.

Wigan Athletic manager Uwe Rosler has praised his players for the way that they have adapted to his tactics since he took charge at the DW Stadium.

The Latics ran out 3-2 winners against Bolton Wanderers this afternoon, although the German's nerves were frayed by his first taste of a Lancashire derby.

"I don't like so much excitement," he told reporters. "The team responded very well to the tactics we have set out, pressure high, pressure all over the pitch, attacking-minded football.

"The first 35 minutes was very, very good; that's the way I want to play. The players were very good in executing that on the pitch."

Rosler's first win in charge has lifted Wigan, who had lost their last four matches, into 14th in the Championship.
