The summer transfer window has now closed, with Arsenal pulling off one of the standout deals on deadline day.
The Gunners triggered the release clause of Thomas Partey to cap off a relatively busy summer which saw the likes of Willian and Gabriel Magalhaes join too, and attention will now begin to turn to January.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings at the Emirates Stadium.
Thursday morning's Arsenal transfer talk news roundup:
Manchester United handed Dayot Upamecano boost?
RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano could reportedly be available for a cut-price figure £38m during next summer's transfer window.
The Frenchman was linked with a move to one of Europe's biggest clubs all throughout the summer, with Manchester United, Arsenal and Bayern Munich all believed to have been in the race to sign Upamecano.
However, the 22-year-old opted to stay at Leipzig and pen a new deal until 2023, but Upamecano's low release clause could supposedly spark an intense battle for the centre-back's signature next summer.
According to The Times, Upamecano's £38m buyout clause will become active in 2021, and United will look to strike a deal for the highly-rated defender ahead of the 2021-22 season.
The Leipzig man is expected to line up against the Red Devils when Julian Nagelsmann's side travel to Old Trafford for their Champions League showdown with United on Wednesday evening.
Upamecano has started all five of Leipzig's Bundesliga games this term and already has one goal to his name in the top flight.
Barcelona eye Donyell Malen as Memphis Depay alternative?
Barcelona have reportedly identified PSV Eindhoven forward Donyell Malen as a potential January signing.
The Catalan giants missed out on adding Lyon attacker Memphis Depay to their ranks during the closing days of the summer window, effectively leaving Ronald Koeman a player short in the final third.
With Depay having less than a year remaining on his contract, Barcelona are expected to return for the Netherlands international at the start of 2021.
However, according to reports in Spain, the La Liga side are willing to switch their attention to Malen if Lyon are still not prepared to sell his Dutch compatriot.
While PSV may have little interest in parting ways with their star man, a lack of Champions League football this season may eventually force their hand.
Arsenal are also monitoring the situation ahead of a potential big-money bid next summer.
